The Honda CB-1 was not officially available in the UK, but was reasonably popular in Japan and the USA. The engine is a 400cc in-line, four-stroke, four-cylinder. It absolutely loves to rev, and the short wheelbase lends itself to eager cornering too.
I bought my CB-1 from a friend at university when he upgraded; he had got it from his mother, who had been the first UK owner.
As you can see, mine started off red, but after dropping it and denting the tank quite heavily, I took the opportunity to tidy up the rest of the bodywork and change the colour to Fiat’s Broom Yellow. I then sold it on to a friend, who was driving a Fiat Punto Sporting in the same colour at the time.
